Casino – Camp Victory

In 1942 the Japanese invaded The Dutch East Indies, the Dutch evacuated to Australia, taking the Indonesian soldiers in their Army, many families, and their political prisoners from Tanah Merah in West New Guinea. 1945 Indonesia declared Independence, the Dutch in Australia imprisoned the Indonesian soldiers from their army, making “Camp Victory” at Casino a Prison Camp. This is part of the story.
